Christmas 2009 / New Year 2010 fell in the midst of the most sustained period of sub-zero temperatures over Britain for 50 years, bringing chaos to the roads but beauty to the Highlands. The pastel red/blue sky of dawn compliments the pure white of the snow in this view of Inverpollaidh (Cul Beag and Cul Mor featuring) across frozen Lochan an Ais from above the Thrust Sculpture on Knockan Crag.
